27/2/2006 08:30 | Also noticed it got a mention in GrowthCompanyInvesto "Maiden AIM final figures for calendar 2005 showed pre-tax profits doubling to £3.1m, ahead of forecasts, as sales gushed 43% north to £20.1m. The numbers reflected success in establishing systems with fleet owners and petroleum companies, as well as hoisting the uptake of end-to-end retail management solutions in Europe. At year-end, Orpak's products were deployed at over 6,000 fuel stations and on 1.2m vehicles across 30 countries." "During the year, European sales spiked 77% higher as the company continued its Eastern European assault. India, where Orpak has already secured two major orders, also presents a vast opportunity. One is with Indian Oil Corporation, the largest oil refiner and retailer in the country, in a consortium led by Honeywell, whilst the other is with another state-controlled oil venture, Hindustan Petroleum." "For 2006, house broker Seymour Pierce suggests sales of £25.4m, improved profits of £4.1m, and earnings of 12p, placing the shares on a forward multiple of 14.5" | tole

24/2/2006 08:29 | Orpak doubles profits Thu 16 Feb 2006 LONDON (SHARECAST) - Automated fuel payment systems provider Orpak announced its maiden financial results for the year with revenues increasing by 43% and pre-tax profits doubling. Pre-tax profit rose to $5.4m compared to $2.7m last year, while revenues increased by 43% to $34.8m from $24.3m in the same period last year. The group said revenue growth was due to the increased adoption of its solutions. At the time of floatation, December 2005, it received two orders in India, which the group believes will provide opportunities in a fast growing market. "With the trend for fleet owners and petroleum companies to seek fuel savings, prevent fuel fraud and increase profitability continuing, demand for products and services such as those produced by Orpak remain high. As a result, the Board is confident of delivering further growth in 2006." said the group. No final dividend was declared. | tole
