Optivo & Southern Housing Group Ltd Amalgamation

Optivo has today, 16 December 2022, completed an amalgamation with Southern Housing Group Limited pursuant to section 109 of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

The new entity is a community benefit society named Southern Housing and its registration number is 8983.

Paul Hackett CBE has become Chief Executive of Southern Housing and Sir Peter Dixon is the Chair.

Optivo Finance plc (a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Housing (and formerly a subsidiary of Optivo)) has previously issued the following bonds:

   1)    GBP300,000,000 5.25 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2043; 
   2)    GBP250,000,000 3.283 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2048; and 
   3)    GBP350,000,000 2.857 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2035.
