Optivo and Southern Housing Group merger approved
The boards of Optivo and Southern Housing Group have approved proposals to merge and create a new 77,000 home social landlord.
The new organisation will be named Southern Housing and the target date for formal completion is early 2023 , subject to lender consents.
Discussions about a potential merger were first announced in March this year.
Optivo is a community benefit society with registered number 7561 and registered as a Registered Provider with the Regulator of Social Housing with number 4851.
Optivo Finance Plc (registered number 7933814) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Optivo.
Southern Housing Group Limited is a community benefit society with registered number 31055R and registered as a Registered Provider with the Regulator of Social Housing with number L4628.
