I read somewhere that notification of AIM trades can be delayed by 1 hour. If that is the case here then I suppose the trades going thru now are not sells but were buys thus the rise in price. IMHO-DYOR.

The Old Monk Company plc, the managed pub group, today announces record
interim results for the six months ended 28 October 2000.

Highlights

* Turnover up 28% to #10.4million (1999: #8.2m) and like for like sales
for the period ahead 10%

* Christmas and New Year period like for like sales up 9% on last year

* Pre-tax profits up 20% at #391,000 (1999: #326,000) after adopting FRS15
and UITF 24 (treatment of new site expenditure) which reduced pre-tax
profit by #159,000 in the period

* Diluted EPS up 3% to 1p (1999: 0.96p) again reduced by new accounting
changes

* 2 new sites opened during the period, increasing the estate to 36

* Additional Old Monk/Springbok sites to be added to current estate in
Cardiff

Just started to move up a little ahead of interim's on Friday. Appear good value, especially on a forecasts for next year.
