Serinus Energy ( AIM:SENX, WSE:SEN) is pleased to announce that the exploration drilling program in Romania is progressing and the work to prepare for drilling is ahead of schedule. The Company's plan is to drill two wells sequentially into two separate natural gas prospects located near the Moftinu gas field and gas plant. Subject to the results of the first two wells the Company anticipates drilling a third well to complete this 2022 drilling programme.

The two prospects to be drilled during this operation are the Canar prospect and the Moftinu Nord prospect. The Company's recently completed 2D seismic acquisition program has confirmed the attractiveness of these prospects.

Subject to the timely approval of all permits the Company intends to drill the Canar-1 well located 4.0 km to the west of the Moftinu gas plant, commencing in late June or early July. Upon completion of the Canar-1 well the Company expects to drill the Moftinu Nord-1 well. Moftinu Nord is a distinct gas prospect located 5.2 km to the northwest of the Moftinu gas plant.

Permitting for these wells has commenced and is expected to be completed within the next few weeks. All long lead items for the Canar-1 well have arrived at the Company's warehouse in Satu Mare county. Remaining long lead items for the Moftinu Nord-1 well will be available prior to the planned commencement of drilling.

The surface works, including access roads and drilling platforms, for both wells are underway and near completion. The Company has secured a drilling rig for the programme and a rig mobilisation order is expected in late June.

The Company is fully funded for its 2022 Capital Programme in Romania and Tunisia.

The Company will provide further updates to the market as this drilling program progresses over the summer.

It was a private buyer, perhaps it was the head of Mercedes and it will be used for some PR? Who knows.

Anyway, good luck trying to find some compatible fuel that won't ruin the engine in the coming years.

Connie Mixon, CEO, said:

"In 2021, a more stable oil price benefitted the Company's core business which focusses primarily on supporting the energy industry's clean production initiatives. This energy market strength, along with the Company's efforts, helped MYCELX achieve both new contracts and the extension of existing contracts across multiple core geographies. The Company also made significant inroads into the PFAS remediation market, demonstrating our PFAS system is cost effective and more efficient than existing technologies.

MYCELX is well placed to capitalise on new, large market applications with ambitious growth targets. With industry's increased focus on mitigating environmental impact, MYCELX's proven technology has never been more relevant in the fight for clean water and air. We look forward to keeping all our stakeholders updated on the Company's progress throughout the rest of the year." ...

Chairman's Statement

MYCELX meets the growing demand for innovative technology that mitigates the environmental impact of industry

I am pleased to address our shareholders, and all stakeholders, following my first year as Chairman of your Company. MYCELX today is in a strong position, and strategically well placed to capitalise on the growing demand for innovative technology, which is designed with the clear intention of helping the world mitigate the environmental impact of industry. We are leaders in this field and are supporting compliance across multiple industries and geographies. ...

The PFAS remediation market represents a material opportunity for MYCELX, and you will read in the annual report the significant progress that has been made to accelerate commercialisation of our PFAS offering. PFAS, which stands for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl compounds, are a collection of long-lasting man-made toxic chemicals, which present a threat to the environment and human health. The Company estimates the annual PFAS remediation cost in the United States alone to be in excess of US$8bn and growing as contaminated sites continue to be identified.

Outlook

Our outlook is encouraging on multiple fronts. The PFAS remediation market is a significant growth opportunity for MYCELX, providing real environmental and health benefits deploying our effective and efficient technology. In our traditional energy markets, today's high oil price bodes well for the completion of new commercial agreements with both existing and new international customers, and we are optimistic that the resurgence in bidding activity will support strong performance in 2022 and beyond. Our REGEN offering is also expected to play an important role as we grow within the Enhanced Oil Recovery market of the energy sector. We continue to focus on taking advantage of these attractive market opportunities. ...

Cyclist arrested after police force rider off M3 motorway

A cyclist has been arrested after police forced him off the M3 motorway in Hampshire, with the rider moving into the fast lane of the motorway after an initial attempt by officers to get him to pull over.

Hampshire Constabulary’s road policing unit said on Twitter that they were alerted to the presence of the rider at 0510 this morning.

The cyclist was reportedly riding in the centre lane of the motorway at junction 13, the exit for Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford.

However, when police tried to get the cyclist to pull over, the rider moved into the fast lane and officers subsequently forced him onto the grass verge.

----

Expect more people to use other get away vehicles when fuel prices are high. Check the photo out - they had to use 4 police cars to stop this mad man! He had the gall to move into the "fast" lane too. Too Fast Too Furious at 12mph.

I think a basic reason for oil being above $100 is that there are now 35% more dollars and it's only time until things are 35% more expensive in dollar terms.
With that in mind, why would OPEC not want to see $135 oil minimum, just to give them the same 'real' spending power of pre-covid $100.

Well that's my thoughts anyway.

Brent Crude is forming an asymmetric triangle right now, in the shorter term it will either break high or low. We will find out within 1-3 months. But I am more concerned about the price in 12-24 months time.

Will Brent Crude be above $100 or below $100?

What is the outlook for oil? There are plenty of media articles talking it down.

The US driving season is about to start soon, and that usually ramps things up. People have been locked away for 2 years - they want out now. They want to drive, fly, sail whatever, they want to get out there. There must be so much pent up demand this year.

I understand China is locking down, but it is different this time, the people are protesting and don't want to lock down anymore. They want to "learn to live with" Covid. The UK can proudly proclaim to be leading the world this way. Well done Boris (nuts smilie face).

We have Russian sanctions and that uncertainty over what will happen next.

We have the CEOs of oil companies cashing in their shares - are they really forecasting the market demand? Plenty of articles are looking at it from this angle. We don't really know to be honest - it could be that they are cashing in because they are going to get even more bonusses and free share packages in the months and years ahead, so you might as well make hay whilst the sun shines.

30/09/2021 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Pennpetro Energy PLC Results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2021 LSE:PPP Pennpetro Energy Plc

" ... Despite the challenges presented by Covid, over the past few months, we continued our negotiations for the acquisition of an exciting Intellectual Property portfolio within the green technologies sector. The technologies which have been developed from within the petroleum sector encompass the provision of Green Energy by the remediation of both petrochemical and industrial waste without any harmful emissions released into the atmosphere, truly embracing the ethos of alternative energy whilst protecting the environment, as well as providing the Company with the ESG green credentials. We have agreed to commercialise the technology through a separate associated enterprise to progress under the initiatives driven by both the UK and European authorities with regard to exceptionally strong aims in bringing ESG, sustainability and climate to the forefront of corporate development. The UK is the only global financial centre that is also a green finance hub, with major green platforms developed by the London Stock Exchange, leading the sustainable finance ecosytem. As we progress, we will update the market.

The period under review has been challenging due to a number of unprecedented factors. However, the Company is well placed to capitalise not only on the continued recovery of the US and global petroleum sectors, but on our pursuit of the most exciting green technologies. Our aim is to be an encompassing and responsible energy company. ..."
