            Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc ("OHM" or "the Company") 
 
                       Non Executive Director Resignation 
 
Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc announces the resignation from the Board of 
Directors of Thierry Le Roux. Thierry Le Roux is Executive Vice President 
Technology at CGGVeritas. Under a Share Subscription Agreement signed in 2007, 
CGGVeritas is entitled to Board representation as long as their shareholding is 
greater than 10%. As a result of recent share placings, CGGVeritas' shareholding 
in the Company has reduced to less than 10% and accordingly Thierry Le Roux has 
tendered his resignation. 
 
Dave Pratt, Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping's Chairman, commented: 
 
"Thierry joined OHM's Board in January 2008 at the time of CGGVeritas' 
investment in OHM and over the last two and a half years the Board and 
management have benefitted from his vast experience and wise counsel. On behalf 
of the Board I would like to express my thanks to Thierry for  his contribution
