Looks like OHM may of been tipped somewhere, because of why the 15K buy @12p way before the market opens today?. Whats the rush?.

robson - Don't think the charters were so much paid for as opposed to being bartered for in shares so as to avoid OHM going under!

Loverat - What chance of any new contract news now that the winter period is fast approaching? If OHM were unable to utilise the two charter vessels during the spring and summer of this year then it's looking like a long hard winter.

Been on these boards for years. When you see people panicking and losing patience it is quite often the time to buy.

My advice for newbies here. If you are inclined to buy, purchase only a small amount and also what you can afford.

Fertilia - Sorry, forgot to mention the W shaped recession, the second wave of the credit crunch, swine flu, global warming... Oh, and Labour. We're doomed!!!

We are also entering the winter season, a historically quiet time for the company's technology and none more so than this year.

that was then this is now ...get used to it.
just about everyone on this bb wants to see this rise. i have been in since 8.5p and could have sold at 13.6p,but chose to hold for the mid to long instead.fact is there is no info coming out on this and small holders are panicking.this lack of info is putting off potential investors.the price appears to move down on very piddly trades indeed(any excuse IMHO).good luck to all holders.

Mark....lol

only death and taxes are certain.....

maybe you should ask the placing folk who bought at 21.5p, when the share price was 8p??

DRH,

WTF is going on here...was only a few weeks ago you were getting very excited about making easy money on the back of these from 15p to 21p....it's done the complete opposite at 11p....not impressed, not impressed at all.....

They're dealing in millions of shares, that's why they took part in the placing.

However these institutions paid 21.5p when the share price was less than half that, they didn't need to do that, so must have been happy to pay up for their stakes. I can't quite work out why they haven't continued to buy at these levels though.

Don't get your hopes up cos some supposed institution et al have bought a placing at 21.5p....

A few renound city firms bought into Alizyme at 30p/share......shed loads, it subsequently marched all the way to 4p and is now in administration

theres more to this placing than we know.the guys investing in the future of ohm and the guys supplying the survey vessels are one and the same.i doubt very much if they would agree to such a deal just because they are all good mates.it will be interesting to see how this unravels...hopefully a real swashbuckler aaargh haargh...

One 10K sale just now, and the price today falls again. Lets just hope the buying price does get to 10.75p, so then we can buy the 21.5p placing, for exactly half the price.

found robson's post no.360

broker forecast is FY2012 and this is a fair time away to become profitable.

However I can see the big potential and i believe will contracts could come sooner than later as the economics change over the next year.

However cash is expected to last for another year, so another cash call or take on debt loan(i would hope)
will be on the cards.

So at this price, i cannot see buying more makes any sense, unless you are will to expect returns much later

certainly not a trading share but one to invest and hold
