                               Board Appointment

Oasis Stores is pleased to announce the appointment today of Mr Richard
Glanville as Finance Director and Company Secretary.

Richard brings with him a wealth of retail industry experience including roles
as Finance Director - Richards, Commercial Director - Sears Clothing Limited
and IT Director - Comet Ltd.

A certified accountant, Richard joins us from Hays Information Management,
where he is currently IT Director, and will take up his position at the end of
November.
