The guys running this shell will use every trick in the book to extract value and make themselves money. Name change, possibly suspension, acquisition news etc. Create a new brand, stimulate investor interest and therefore a share price rise.
It won't all be based on fundamental value, smoke and mirrors come into play too.

I'm in because they are good at it.

the only way to get this share flying is for leo to give away shareholder perks and let all his investors have a freeby at madam una's one night

deals get lined up and sometimes pulled or run into legal snags ---does it matter if its 6 months or a year --the best deal will be found for oakgate very soon ---due diligence to be done and patience will see this little gem soon perform ----look at the investors and list ---i am a buyer at these levels -next year will be our year

Has anyone tried ringing the company or Alfred Herbert where the leading lights are presuimably based? Most companies treat investors with - if not respect - then at least civility and very few will hide behind the well worn "market sensitivity" or "we're in a pending period" excuses. We shareholders own the company and we are entitled to know what is happening. Even if nothing's going on there's no reason why a company cannot admit as much.

Also I don't think anyone's commented on the rather uninformative announcement OKG made on November1 :-
"The Board of Oakgate announces that it has issued and allotted 1,983 new
Ordinary Shares of 1p each ("new Ordinary Shares") and 13,879 deferred Ordinary
Shares of 7p each."
Why were these shares issued? Who were they issued to...and why?

Monday.

Only meant that I would be doing some research on Monday. Speaking to someone. And I have. And, well - - - very interesting, indeed, what I have been able to glean. You might call it a little nugget of info. But, it could a harbinger of further bigger finds in the riverbed, speaking in riddles for now. No, it's not another golddigger - as far as I know. Little nugget is all that it is. Panning like paperwork takes a great deal of patience. Paperwork does take a long time as we all know when doing a deal.

Winterfloods and Beeson Gregory had quite a queue of investors waiting for the delivery of their stock in Oakgate in July, August and September. It would not surprise me if the MMs had taken some of that Beeler bulge to supply the market and keep afew for themselves. The headwaiter had to have 20000 from Winterfloods and 10000 from Beeson Gregory. They came over a bit over a week ago after a wait of MONTHS, and only when forced by Gerrards Ltd through a BUY ORDER. Perhaps they are now more liquid and ready for any action when it comes.

How long will we have to wait? Perhaps a bit longer than Harry predicts. Certainly, we should all be able to buy a big Turkey for Christmas. May be all our Christmases will come together. You just never know.

We have heard alot about FUTURAGENE as a benchmark for what might be expected for OAKGATE. I would agree that it points the speculation in the right direction - positive and upward. But may be, just may be, OKG may eclipse the medicine for stressed plants. I am banking on a biggie here. IMHO.

HELLO ALL: As promised I've had a nose around today to see if anyone knows anything. All I've come up with so far is that the company is obliged to publish interim results this month - exactly what day I don't know. Could be that was what BISHOPAWN was hinting at.

On the sale of Beller's stake in the company it does indeed seem as though these were dripped out onto the market over a period of time and were not bought as a parcel by another investor. (If they had it would have to have been declared). Beller - as noted earlier - were just holding this stake for Robin Williams' investment vehicle Pershing Keen Nominees.

All the signs of on overstretched small retail investor expecting a short term turnaround immediately, like tommorrow and nervous as hell when they have to wait a few days. Clearly he'll be gone on the first spike.

bishopawn...you know I have been a holder from day one......hardly short-term.

true fossildog.....but neither does it mean a (possible) deal is imminent....in fact it would seem illogical to some ...why have large holder(s) been patient and waited all this time 3 years.....to sell now.....if a deal IS imminent ???
Think it highly unlikely recent seller(s) bought as okg stock but were serious investors in pme (£500k to £1million).

JOHNDEE: If you'd like to get your calculator out, you need to divide your 200,000 PrimeEnt shares by 480. That should give you approx 418 OKG shares.
If you have not received an OAKGATE share certificate yet you should contact Capita Registrars who are very helpful and will sort out your holding for you. I'm afraid I haven't got their phone number handy as I'm not back in the officeu until Tuesday but if you're still in difficulties post a note here and I'll give you the contact details.

ALL OKG INVESTORS: Just thought you would be interested in this para in the Daily Mail re one of Mr Knifton's other companies Alltrue Investments ATR which was floated in May.
