                  COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OF REBUS HR GROUP

Further to the announcement dated 20 January 2004, Northgate Information
Solutions plc ("Northgate" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the
successful completion of the acquisition of the Rebus HR Group. The
consideration shares and placing shares issued in connection with the
acquisition have been admitted to listing on the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority and were admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main
market for listed securities today. Dealings in these shares have now commenced.

Chris Stone, chief executive of Northgate, said:
