This statutory half-year report covers the operations of the legal entity Nordea Mortgage Bank Plc. The half-year report of Nordea Bank AB (publ) comprises the operations of the Nordea Group as a whole and gives the best overview of the Group.

Nordea Mortgage Bank Plc was established 1 October 2016 and hence no comparable income statement figures are available for the period January-June.

   --    The operating profit of Nordea Mortgage Bank amounted to EUR 56.9m 
   --    Net interest income totalled EUR 91.1m 
   --    Total operating income was EUR 81.5m 
   --    Total operating expenses were EUR -24.3m 
   --    Net loan losses were on a low level and amounted to EUR -0.3m 
   --    Loans to the public decreased 3% compared to year-end 2016.
