Change of name of the Company to Enterprise VCT plc



Further to the announcement on 31 March 2008 the Company announces that the
result of the poll held in connection with Resolution 2 (to change the name of
the Company to Enterprise VCT plc) was as follows:

For                                4,363,295                          75.06
Against                            1,449,513                          24.94



The resolution has therefore been carried as a special resolution.

The change of name is expected to become effective on Monday 7 April 2008
following the registration of the change with Companies House.



The Company's "ticker" symbol on the London Stock Exchange is expected to change
from "NBV" to "EVCT" as soon as practicable following the change of name
becoming effective.



The ISIN number of the Company's shares will remain unchanged at GB0002582962.



As required by the Listing Rules, copies of all the resolutions passed have been
submitted to the UK Listing Authority for publication through the UK Listing
Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at The Financial
