OBRASCON HUARTE LAIN, S.A. (the "Company"), in compliance with the provisions of article 82 of Act 24/1988, of 28 July, on the Securities Market (Ley del Mercado de Valores), by means of this document notifies the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) of the following

RELEVANT FACT

Following the prior announcement made today, the Company informs that it has successfully completed today an issue of senior notes in the amount of three hundred million euro (EUR 300,000,000) with maturity date in 2020 (the "Issue"). The notes will be issued at par and will bear interest at a rate of 7.625% per annum payable semi-annually in arrears. Closing and payment of the Issue is expected to take place on 27 March 2012, subject to compliance with the usual conditions precedent in these transactions.

The net proceeds of the Issue will be used to repurchase the notes denominated "EUR 700,000,000 7.375 per cent. Notes due 2015"under the tender offer which has been announced on the date hereof.
