Re 9am start, isnt it commonsense that if you put the AGM this early, then you wont get many attend??

Afterall, arent directors generally supposed to be intelligent people?!

There were three shareholders at the Agm and we asked questions for about one hour with Spencer dialling into the meeting and three directors in the room.

I immediately made the point about having a meeting that starts at 10.30am or later in the day rather than 9am if they want increased shareholder attendance and they will consider that for next year.

They said there would not be a trading update until next month and of course we are only ten days away from the half year end.

I also invited the directors to have a stand and present at the Mello Weekender event in 7-9th November in Derby to help raise their profile.

From past years they dont make agm statements but release a trading update mid july on the period to end june

Well, no AGM statement so i presume that there isnt much else to say at this time.

Would appreciate some feedback from anyone how attended early this morning.

A 9am start does nobody any favours so i dont suppose many made it.

123ct.....I have at least four of us attending on Tuesday morning as it is just down the road from our Mello event the night before. I am sure the company will be very pleased to see shareholders coming as they only had one person last year, but it has to be said that a 9am start does not exactly encourage attendance.

123ct. You can just turn up but bring some ID and state that your shares are held in a nominee account. I would like to attend but am in Spain until 20th hence can't make it.

NWKI, Europe is where the majority of their revenues are generated, with the Americas the second largest international region.

Extract from STHR trading update today is encouraging imv.

"The Americas had a very strong first half, growing 62%* year on year and we are doubling our office space in San Francisco and Houston to accommodate our expansion plans.

Ive been buying in here recently and ahead of next weeks AGM.

Business looks to be picking up nicely. The last results showed good growth in earnings and PBT.

This for me is a nice investment to go alongside RTC in the same sector and as the thread header says, these shares are after all Derd cheap. ;-)

Only a week to go to the Agm and presumably another update. I will be there so certainly a chance to ask questions and meet the whole board as I have only met the excellent FD thus far.

Any of you coming to the Agm ? Only two there last year and management really do need to know shareholders exist and appreciate them and challenge where necessary too !

Transaction in Own Shares and Total Voting Rights

Networkers International plc announces that on 23(rd) May 2014 it purchased 100,000 of its own Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 56.0 pence each.

As a result of the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury is 8,446,155 and the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is 83,956,832, which is the number which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
