22/12/2011 10:13 | Indeed Steel, he's spamming stockopedia as well, in addition to two Hoil threads, WZR, GKP and no doubt PCI. His alternative avatars from what I can see are: PFC30 Mickeyadmin Readytotrade l2user No doubt there are many more. Quite annoying, and childish to engage in such spamming, particularly when people request him/her to discontinue. | fangorn2
22/12/2011 00:42 | Hi Steelwatch, can you please ban "Blue Horseshoe Loves Chip Fat" from the SOLO thread. He isn't of course the REAL BHSLCF but is thought to be Spikey DT who also attaches 'bit.ly' shortened URL links which have a mechanism that now directs you via a company that tracks traffic flow, hits, geographical locations, and not least IP addresses and details... He's a real nasty piece of work. Hope you are well t.b.s. PS - Sorry for the OT guys but don't open this guys links. He's also spamming as MickeyAdmin e.t.c. | the black spanner

21/12/2011 21:21 | Anyone know the Catcher program or other wells planned for early 2011? Thanks | pigeon1
21/12/2011 09:59 | I went to the QFI AGM, last week & for time reasons did not ask if there were any links still to NPE. They informed us that a CDN subsiduary Optimal was pumping $c100,000, per month in Alberta heavy, with more wells & deals on the way. Alberta has spent @ $c6om. on the process. I should think that the NPE heavy is a well known situation to them, but the expansion to the U.K was not a topic, too many other bits of good news, to come! | haydock
20/12/2011 23:12 | Dissapointing, but hands up those who thought there was the remotist possibility of anything but heavy oil (+500 cp) at those depths ! I do not doubt the statement "unlikly to be uneconomic", but the viscosities are nae much differerent to Statoil's Bressay or Xcite's Bently. I predict this is not the last we have heard of TR. I expect to see some shuffling of equity on the field in the coming months. Looking forward to seeing a revision of TR STOIIP some time soon. Roll on the shortest day BWANA | bwanabanana

20/12/2011 16:55 | Oh well, a small disappointment, but no big deal in the greater scheme of things. Next up: Drilling programme to recommence Q1, 2012, with likely programme of: 1 exploration well (Carnaby) and 1 appraisal well Buffalo possible drill in H2 2012. | steelwatch
20/12/2011 14:10 | Tudor Rose p&a Nautical Petroleum plc (AIM: NPE) announces that the Tudor Rose well 14/30a-5 in Central North Sea Block 14/30a has reached Total Measured Depth of 3,590 feet. The well encountered a 22 feet net oil column within the target Beauly Formation and Oil Water Contact at 3,236 feet Total Vertical Depth Subsea. Wireline sampling and pressure testing of the oil bearing zone has been undertaken and preliminary wellsite analysis suggests a very heavy crude, with a viscosity of 600-800 Centipoise, which is unlikely to be commercially exploitable. Further onshore analysis will be required before this provisional evaluation can be confirmed. The well will now be plugged and abandoned. Commenting on the result, Steve Jenkins, Nautical's Chief Executive Officer said: "The principal objective of this well was to establish the gravity and viscosity of the oil. The provisional results suggest that the accumulation is unlikely to be economic to produce. Our focus on Block 14/30a will now turn to the interpretation of the reprocessed seismic data over the deeper oil/gas Buffalo prospect in the south of the block." Nautical has a 20 per cent. equity interest in Central North Sea block 14/30a. | shabbadabbadoo2

05/12/2011 10:14 | The Tudor Rose oil accumulation was discovered in 1983 and encountered an 80 foot oil column within the Tertiary age Beauly Sands, but proper representative oil samples were not obtained. Latest analysis indicates that the accumulation contains over 500 mmbbls of oil in-place. The current well is being drilled 2.5 kilometers from, and at a similar elevation to the discovery well, with the primary objective of establishing the gravity and viscosity of the oil through proper testing. The well is expected to be drilled to approximately 3,500 feet using the Transocean Sedco 704 semi-submersible rig. Drilling is anticipated to take approximately 20-30 days to complete subject to weather conditions and operational requirements. The PSV Malaviya Seven is currently provisionally marked as becoming available on the spot market on 15 Dec. | steelwatch
05/12/2011 06:24 | Day 19 since Tudor Rose was spudded. We were told well was expected to take circa 20 days. Should have news out this week. Anyone give a quick breakdown on what the pre-drill expectations are for this well. | horndean eagle |
