''milk investors for more funds?'' er right ok. Ure starting to sound bitter now :)

Don't worry u can buy back in at 0.7p- what price did u sell at?

financial restructuring? OK, why?
To make the co look more attractive to the market.
Why would they want to do that after years of ignoring the market?
Because they want to milk investors for more funds.

Jcp, banks only lend to people who can proove they don't really need the money in recessions.
So which bank is going to rush to lend to a company that only made snails pace progress and extremely modest profits when there wasn't a credit crunch?
& Investors? Which of them is going to dip their hands into their pockets on the basis of the returns to date?
Profit takers? Look at the top of the thread to see how long I've been in.

They seem to know a lot about making clean water but not a lot about making money.
They are doing a lovely job for the world but cant understand why investors think they should be charging money for doing it .
One good point is that the installations /costs seem to be depreciated as they go so eventually there must come a time when lumps of money start dropping to the bottom line .zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

In my short experience, thats normal. Its not cash that investors are interested in, its what companies do with the cash that has potential to increase shareholder value.

Apologies. We do have an investor website evolving at www.investnature.com.

This links to our Norwegian technical site also.

We did put out an RNS at end Jan [and onto the website] re a new key director addition.. Meanwhile we will soon issue an update with also the announcement of last years finals. This will reference some forward developments.

Also by mid year a growth in waste clean up activities incl a contract from the Arctic Circle oil waste removal should be announced.

Communication is essential for a company like NSO and I said as much in an email to Eldridge back in March last year, just before they established their rather poor attempt at an investors site. My email, which never received a reply, is reproduced below:

Dear Mr Eldridge,

As a small private investor in your company, I would like to comment on the absence of a shareholders section within your web site; and hopefully receive your views on this.

I realise that news flow from NSO is infrequent for the purely practical reason that long lead-in times for contracts prevail within the business sector. However, I do feel that an active investors section within the website could help to maintain and encourage shareholder interest in your company during periods between market news. The section would obviously need to contain information of a non price sensitive nature but I do believe that this could be done and still offer content of interest to investors and potential investors alike. Content could perhaps include such things as director profiles, copies of media coverage, press releases and project update reports.

Yours sincerely

interesting - I have held for a few months and not a regular poster here.

Just one comment, whilst I see today's announcement and level of participation from informed parties as an extremely positive indication,( I am particularly impressed by El Oro's involvement - a very traditional & extremely shrewd outfit - worth checking them out ELX - www.eloro.co.uk - Chairman is a bit of an Eccentric - but non-the less they have near on £100k invested in NSO!), I am quite disappointed by the fact that the Company seems to want to keep to an absolute minimum, the level of visibility & information voluntarily provided to the market.

They are clearly making significant progress with their Offshore Treatment Units and have managed to garner significant support for this placing.
But no updates from the Company between the initial announcement and this placing has caused that the share price to languish at these levels for several months and thus benefited the placing participants with a nice low entry point.

I fear that this lack of clear market communications and low visibility may be an indicator that, if things do take off, the long term interests of the private investor may not be as clearly aligned to those of the Directors & Major shareholders as one would have hoped and expected.

The pathetic state of the Company's own investor awareness site is an example of how they hardly seem to even pay lip service to the retail investment community.

Don't get me wrong, I feel that the fundamentals are there for a very significant business enterprise, but how much we as retail investors will see of the benefit remains to be seen.

Continue to hold and would be interested in other views, hopefully to the contrary, but I feel that the way this is playing out indicates a bit about the psychology of the management and perhaps a bit of contempt for retail investors.

The biggest indicator of this is of course the fact that no shares have been traded as yet today!!
