Acquisition of Coal Leases

Natasa Mining Ltd wishes to advise that it has acquired six granted Coal Leases, covering an area of 22,688 ha, in the Fox Creek area of the Province of Alberta, Canada for a consideration of US$5 million.

In a report filed by the vendor of the Leases with relevant Canadian authorities on 17 December 2007, in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, it was stated that these Coal Leases consist of 847 million tonnes of a measured and indicated coal resource.

The vendor of the presently undeveloped Leases is a non-related Canadian company (Alter NRG Corp), the consideration moneys have been paid out of Natasa's existing cash funds and the acquisition will not have any material effect on the Company.
