                    TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

On 26 June 2008, the Company purchased into treasury 61,451 GBP
shares at a range of prices from GBP 10.45 to GBP 10.65 (the
"Transaction")

On 26 June 2008, the Company purchased into treasury 52,416 EUR
shares at a range of prices from EUR 10.23 to EUR 10.23 (the
"Transaction")

On 26 June 2008, the Company purchased into treasury 12,370 US$
shares at a price range of US$ 10.60 (the "Transaction")

The Board of the Company has resolved with immediate effect to cancel
61,451 of its GBP issued shares, thereby reducing the number of
outstanding issued GBP shares of the Company to 364,509,064. (the
"Transaction")

The Board of the Company has resolved with immediate effect to cancel
52,416 of its EUR issued shares, thereby reducing the number of
outstanding issued EUR shares of the Company to 63,830,251. (the
"Transaction")

The Board of the Company has resolved with immediate effect to cancel
12,370 of its US$ issued shares, thereby reducing the number of
outstanding issued US$ shares of the Company to 21,915,021. (the
"Transaction")

Following the Transaction, there are now in issue (to the exclusion
of those held in treasury) 57,889,389 EUR Shares, 19,864,534 US$
Shares and 31,387,088 GBP Shares.  The total number of shares held in
treasury are 5,940,862 EUR Shares, 2,050,487 US$ Shares and 3,121,976
GBP Shares.

All shares purchased on the 26 June 2008 were purchased on NYSE
Euronext NL stock exchange.
