AUSTRALIAN STOCK EXCHANGE PRICE QUERY

Murchison United NL ("Murchison" or "The Company") (ASX:MUR, AIM:MUU) today received a price query from the
Australian Stock Exchange.

The  query  "noted  a change in the price of the Company's securities from $0.12 on 1 June  2007  to  $0.14
today. We have also noted an increase in the volume of trading in the securities over this period".

                                        RESPONSE TO ASX PRICE QUERY

The Company advises the following in response to your query today:

    1.         Is the Company aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced which,  if
        known, could be an explanation for recent trading in the securities of the Company?

          No.

    2.        If the answer to question 2 is yes, can an announcement be made immediately? If not, why not and
        when is it expected that an announcement will be made?

          Not applicable.

    3.        Is there any other explanation that the Company may have for the price change and increase in
        volume in the securities of the Company?

        The  Company  has no explanation.  The market knows from prior announcements that  the  Company  is
        expecting to complete several matters soon. When those matters complete the Company will  make  the
        appropriate  announcements.   One possible explanation (which the Company is unable to  confirm  or
        deny  has  any merit) for the price change and increase in volume in the securities of the  Company
        may be due to speculation as to the outcome of some of those matters.


    4.         Please  confirm that the Company is in compliance with the listing rules and, in particular,
        listing rule 3.2.
