AUSTRALIAN STOCK EXCHANGE PRICE QUERY

Murchison United NL ("Murchison" or "The Company") (ASX:MUR, AIM:MUU) today received a price query from the
Australian Stock Exchange.

The  query  "noted a change in the price of the Company's securities from $0.09 on 5 March  2007  to  $0.17
today. We have also noted an increase in the volume of trading in the securities over this period."

RESPONSE TO ASX PRICE QUERY

The Company advises the following in response to your query today:

1.        Is  the  Company  aware of any information concerning it that has not been  announced  which,  if
          known, could be an explanation for recent trading in the securities of the Company?

          No.

2.        If  the answer to question 2 is yes, can an announcement be made immediately? If not, why not and
          when is it expected that an announcement will be made?

          Not applicable.

3.        Is  there  any other explanation that the Company may have for the price change and  increase  in
          volume in the securities of the Company?

          The  Company  has  no explanation that it knows for a fact to be correct. However,  the  Managing
          Director  and  Technical Director attended PDAC in Toronto last week and  while  there  took  the
          opportunity to give presentations to a number of North American investors. The presentation given
          was  the same as that given at the AGM and released to the market on 29 November 2006. The volume
          in  the Murchison shares increased dramatically last Friday and continues today and has not  been
          at  these volumes for some time. The correlation between these events suggests that some  of  the
          North  American investors maybe buying. Murchison is unable to ascertain or confirm  if  this  is
          correct.

4.        Please  confirm  that  the Company is in compliance with the listing rules  and,  in  particular,
          listing rule 3.2.
