Murchison  United NL ("Murchison") (ASX: MUR, AIM: MUU) advises that it understands that 550,000 shares  in
the  Company, representing 0.15% of its share capital, were held through Opes Prime Stockbroking, which has
had  Receivers  & Managers and Administrators appointed. These shares have since been sold on  market.  The
Company would like to confirm that none of its directors are a party to any margin lending agreements.
