MOTO GOLDMINES ANNOUNCES KEY DATES FOR SPECIAL MEETING TO CONSIDER TRANSACTION 
WITH RANDGOLD RESOURCES 
 
 
PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA - Moto Goldmines Limited ("Moto") announces that a 
special meeting of the registered holders ("Moto Shareholders") of the issued 
and outstanding common shares ("Moto Shares") of Moto and the holders of 
outstanding options to acquire Moto Shares ("Moto Optionholders") will be held 
at the Four Seasons Hotel, 791 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, 
Canada on October 9, 2009 at 10.00 a.m. (Pacific time). The purpose of the 
special meeting is to consider the proposed combination with Randgold Resources 
Limited ("Randgold"), which was announced on August 5, 2009. 
 
 The Record Date for Moto Shareholders and Moto Optionholders entitled to 
receive notice of and vote at the special meeting is September 8, 2009. 
 
 
The Management Information Circular for the special meeting will be mailed to 
Moto Shareholders and Moto Optionholders and filed under Moto's profile on SEDAR 
at www.sedar.com by September 18, 2009. A copy of the arrangement agreement 
entered into between Moto and Randgold is currently available under Moto's
