Pardon ??? a mutual Lawyer has total control over the BoD of MIRL ??!!!!
Where exactly in MIRL's Corporate Governance arrangements has that been documented, for the Record ? When was this communicated to me as a Shareholder in MIRL - it hasn't !

I've never once seen or heard anything about a 3rd Party waiting in the wings to buy MIRL last year or since that time... not once. Can you tell me the Company Name please, so that I can monitor the situation moving forward ?

I did see/hear that subsidiary Accounts weren't available on time and they definitely didn't surface in an acceptable, auditable manner until quite recently this year.
I did hear all about the 'hooky' 3rd Party 'Finance facilitation' arrangements and that it was intimated back then that DB may have been involved at a distance.
It was reported that local Employees became very disgruntled, then were led a merry dance, mis-represented and mis-led over a 2-3 month period... something they themselves reported on and eventually distanced themselves from.

I have felt until your revelations above that I was very well-informed on all Events that took place from Spring last year until very recently... via all viable, Official routes of course. Happy to absorb any additional Information you can furnish me with in order to take a more rounded view of matters... not your own inferences or opinions obviously, as you're a complete Stranger and only clearly documented/reported Facts really count IMHO
;-)

p.s. If a 3rd Party really was lurking, as a Shareholder, it may infact have been in my favour, depending on how they pursued such an acquisition and at what share price - but we'll never know will we, it never happened, it's not a Fact !

I'm sorry potter Magic but to think DB was the cause if all the problems u are wrong so very wrong if it wasn't for him there would be no minera irl as a 3rd party was waiting to buy it from the likes of pinto and hodges......have a recap on exactly what happend from August 2015.........

Maxoscar1.... I've always felt that DB was at the heart of the problems last year. The fact that he has lost his Share(s) in the subsidiary and been denied presence on the BoD for the controlling Company (MIRL) and that it's been very clearly communicated he is General Manager of one subsidiary, indicates to me that what appeared to be localized financial improprieties, possible involvement in a 'hooky' 3rd Party financial 'instrument', attempts to 'hold sway' at Group Board Level and disruptive behavior locally with Employees have been dealt with... DB's entire involvement in preceding matters always appeared -ve to me.

BB,

I agree, but at least they're thinking about it!

Why say so otherwise? They have no obligation to do so, they will be listed on Lima plus the TSX.

So long as COFIDE fulfill their part of the bargain, they won't have need of the London capital markets.

Not convinced they'll relist on AIM, the wording used is rather soft

Feb 5th: "shares to remain suspended until the interim accounts are published and nomad
is satisfied the company can comply with AIM Rules"

With financials published and auditors satisfied, todays update says they're now merely
"weighing the possibility of regaining the AIM listing"

The planning with a 3rd Party to complete tunneling for Ollachea at a fixed price by Q2 2017 also looks promising and suggests we have a real Plan for Ollachea that's already underway. Let's hope the timescales & financials all stack up for a prosperous future

kirk6,

I don't follow the LSE madhouse, but I think many were negative towards MIRL, me included, after the recent events.

I honestly did not think Hodges and Pinto would give up, and thought they might even bring down the company first, but I guess money eventually focuses minds.

I think we need to move forward from this point onwards, rather than look back, there is a new BOD now, and there seems to be a very bright light at the end of the tunnel, which is getting closer, IMO.

This is fantastic as well:Meanwhile the Group’s wholly owned Corihuarmi gold mine continues to perform above expectations having produced 5,769 oz. Au in the first quarter of 2016 at an estimated cash cost of US $ 692 per oz. During March 2016 there was a record production of 2,329 oz. Au at an estimated cost of US $ 654 per oz. (all quoted figures are unaudited).

It will be very interesting to see the price we open and trade at. From my reading of the Chairman's statement we will open simultaneously on both Lima and the TSX?

I would expect Frank O K to do the rounds with the institutions and perhaps a few road shows for the pi's in the next few months.
Not as worried as I was...

I thought you'd be pleased with that comment!

I'd like to see them back in London too, as well as the TSX, this is one of the best mining stories that was listed on AIM in the last few years, IMO.
