20/7/2017 14:22 | Come on twonky, not a shred of evidence for any of that, calm yourself. A strategic review is not a short or small process. Sit tight. If traders leave that's great, I'd like some cheap shares. | simonsaid1

19/7/2017 13:56 | Chimers; you can get therapy you know, lmao! | hjb1
19/7/2017 11:02 | You're just making broad statements with no real meaning now, Chimers. 'It's deal or no deal' - um... ok? We don't know what status any deal is at. In the event of no deal there could be some short term share price movement down, but it can't last when the company is continuing to make money and grow. Fundamentals matter. Not sure what has gotten into you. This is really not as binary as you are painting it. | simonsaid1
19/7/2017 10:51 | None of that matters a toss. Its deal or no deal. They either have one or they dont. Deal it rises. No deal it falls. Thats it. Investing it aint that hard to figure out ............for most. | chimers
19/7/2017 10:48 | Ah yes - good point - future dividend potential isn't even priced into the share price yet! | simonsaid1
19/7/2017 10:23 | yes Simon, that just about sums it up.I will gladly hang around for the divis too! | hjb1
19/7/2017 10:16 | It's easy to lose sight of context in all this. To be clear, the company is the healthiest it's ever been and seeing rising registrations and industry-leading renewals, with smart and clear management from Toby Hall. The future success of MMX does not solely rest upon a merger or acquisition. This also should colour how we imagine these negotiations to be. TH has no reason to sell or merge without compelling benefits to the company and its shareholders. And as a profitable, pure-play TLD company, this is a very compelling takeover target that certainly attracts a premium. 2 months is not a huge amount of time for a review of this scale, and there could well be advanced talks with a potential party right now. And if not, we still own shares in a lightweight, profitable company with attractive assets. What's not to like? | simonsaid1
19/7/2017 10:02 | just for clarity; RNS as follows; 'following a number of informal approaches' Minds + Machines Group Limited ("MMX" or the "Company") Appointment of adviser - Initiation of Strategic Review Minds + Machines Group Limited (AIM: MMX), one of the world's leading owners and operators of Internet Top-Level Domains ("gTLDs"), announces that following a number of informal approaches from external parties, the Board has appointed US investment banking firm, Headwaters MB, to review the various strategic options open to the Company to maximise value for shareholders. MMX has been restructured successfully by the new management team into a profitable business with an increasing recurring revenue stream, a world class asset base, and one of the strongest footprints in Asia following the launch of .VIP and the subsequent MIIT approval in China. During the last 18 months, the new generic top-level domain market has experienced unprecedented growth and trading by the Company has, and continues to, reflect this. Registrations are up over 40% year to date. The sector remains highly fragmented and the review will explore how strategic options might accelerate shareholder value, in particular whether and how MMX can participate in a broader industry consolidation. The outcome of the strategic review may therefore include, but not be limited to, an acquisition by or sale / merger of the Company. The Company will make a further announcement to update shareholders on progress of the strategic review when appropriate. | hjb1
19/7/2017 09:52 | oh dear me, how sad!! looks like some need pictures too! | hjb1
19/7/2017 09:46 | "the Board has appointed US investment banking firm, Headwaters MB, to review the various strategic options open to the Company to maximise value for shareholders." | chimers
19/7/2017 09:45 | The deal passed them by , by the looks of it. They were left standing at the alter. | chimers
19/7/2017 09:44 | No they started a strategic review at no point did they say they are negotiation any deals. | chimers
19/7/2017 09:42 | Lol 'takes about a week'? What are you smoking mate? They hired an investment bank to go through offers and negotiate a deal. That is not a 1 week process. What on earth are you on about chap? | simonsaid1 |
