Good call Simon. Easiest £5 you'd ever lose. He'll probably not post but one of his 10+ alias' certainly would!!

I would most certainly not take that bet.

The share price has already risen dramatically on this news. There is only so much of a market for aim shares like this, so until the big M/A news it has landed at a much higher and well-supported price. Note no lack of trades.

Good point hjb1. Even after the money for future auctions there'd be plenty for a meaty divi, and that's in TH's interest too. If that's what this becomes that suits me, I do need a bit more dividend support in my portfolio anyway (generally use RDSB and LLOY for that but could do with more), just for risk management and covering trading fees etc.

tbh, it would not bother me in the slightest if nothing came of it.I would prefer to rake in the divis in the not too distant future, at least for a couple of years and then sell for a far higher figure.

All we know is from the RNS:

'Following a number of informal approaches from external parties, the Board has appointed US investment banking firm, Headwaters MB, to review the various strategic options open to the Company to maximise value for shareholders.'

You're right that informal approaches are not 'offers' per-se, so who knows the machinations behind the scenes. But it would be surprising to go through all this trouble for nothing. The business is thriving anyhow.

Simon/Chimers...I hope/expect you're right and it pans out with a great deal, should not be long to wait now.I suppose a merger could happen too?
They have had 'formal approaches' not offers as yet, or are they the same thing?
