                                  Acquisition

Mincorp has acquired a 5.5 per cent. interest in PT ATPK Resources Tbk ("ATPK"),
a company quoted on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Mincorp has paid #1.1 million in
cash to acquire this holding. ATPK is engaged in the mining of coal and has
commenced exploration for nickel and gold. For the year ended 31 December 2006
ATPK reported a loss of #2.0 million. At that date ATPK had net assets of #3.1
million. The Board of Mincorp believes that there is substantial value in ATPK,
once it develops the five coal mining properties in Indonesia containing
substantial reserves of steaming coal that it acquired in October 2006.
