We definitely have enough to raise a laugh,but are they mining the world for mining experts? The new appointment has certainly induced a buying frenzy!

How much are we paying all these directors for their expertise in one single aspect of a business?

Mac - why buy 50% and not the whole lot; i.e. reverse ATPK onto AIM through MOP. This would sound a more sensible plan.

aud, I admire your efforts in posting when sadly there isn't much to comment on. The chart cetrainly looks dismal from July through to now, where did all that optimism go. Lets hope we have some news to reverse the trend soon.

bsg - CSFB and others look for an annual return of 25% to 30% on these type of investments. CSFB may well have reached its goal and decided to move on to other things.

Mac advised that the purchase would not be funded by MOP issuing more shares - his post 1992.

ah well sure its only money - any more doom and gloom? better getting it all done and dusted now. In a way I hope it does go to 0.5p then i will buy a few mil more.

1p is a bit generous, more like .5p, probably 6,000M odd shares, followed by a consolidation of 100:1 leaving about 60M @ 50p, so all existing holders will be shafted. IMHO.
