RNS Number:1110F Miller Fisher Group PLC 12 June 2001 For Immediate Release 12 June 2001 MILLER FISHER COMPLETES REENGINEERING PROGRAMME WITH BOARD AND SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES Miller Fisher Group plc, the provider of outsourcing services to the insurance and financial services industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm Hughes to the Board of Directors with effect from 15 June 2001. Malcolm is currently head of Miller Farrell, Miller Fisher's Irish subsidiary, which completed the successful acquisition and integration of Brian Collins and Associates last year. Malcolm will have specific responsibility for all International Operations, encompassing the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Latin America as well as Ireland. Stephen Pyatt, the current Group Managing Director, having been with the company for 22 years, has decided to retire and has resigned from the Board with effect from 30 June 2001. During the past year, Miller Fisher has focused on reorganising the Group as a single trading entity. All UK companies now trade under the name of Miller Fisher. Malcolm's appointment to the Board is one of a number of senior management changes which are set out below and which reflect the Group's new structure and its increased focus on its expanding outsourcing activities. Tom Anderson has been appointed Group Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for all operations, including Adjusting and Inspection Services and Third Party Administration. Tom, who joined the Group in February 2001, was previously Managing Director of the Third Party Administration Division. Tim Gregory, previously IT Director of BACS, the world's largest automated clearing house, joins Miller Fisher on 18 June as Technology Director, with particular responsibility for the Technology and E-Commerce strategy. Prior to joining BACS, Tim was Head of IT at Lloyd's of London. Bev FitzGerald, will be responsible for the Group's Business Development Team, covering Customer Acquisition, Marketing and Client Retention. Bev was previously Chief Executive of the Adjusting and Inspection Division. Commenting on the appointments, Kevin Kenny, Group Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted to have completed the final stage of our reengineering programme. Miller Fisher Group is now one entity, with one focus, and that is to consolidate and improve on our position as a leading provider of outsourcing services to the insurance and financial services industries. We will now build on the solid foundation that we have created over the past year to further develop the range and quality of services that our clients have come to expect from us.
