06/4/2008 14:25 | looks like a potential short again .. at resistance | dr darkstar
27/2/2008 15:02 | No-one got new broker note, or see a Shares Mag tip? sure to be good. | hectorp

21/2/2008 12:50 | Agreed about the lack of comments , I thought a set of results like this would have got it back to the fiver easily . Am amazed the chairman does not get a bit Peed off with the poor price and take it private , | scrapman
20/2/2008 19:03 | That's because it's not a boom or bust (mostly bust) tiddler which most ADVFN gamblers are obsessed with. Excellent results today and strong growth coming from the rest of the world so rather immune to western slowdown. Nice divi increase too. | deadly
20/2/2008 09:54 | this share seems to be below the radar of most PI,s | fernandesb
19/2/2008 16:09 | steady climb over last few days , results tomorrow , | scrapman
17/1/2008 08:38 | Better start today, first time in ages. Perhaps today we will get a 5% rise - -generally good results out from FTSE 250 constituents today with retailers and builders showing the way. BDEV (Barratts up 10%) | ronnie73
16/1/2008 15:28 | Rounder2, thanks - am long from 360p on 9th Jan. Agree, has great assets (freehold property) and has large exposure in Asia. Stronger dollar helps but just don't know why these have been hit so hard in recent months especially when some bozos think they are worth 1600p per share! will have to wait a while for them to get to my purchase level. | ronnie73
15/1/2008 17:05 | Ron - If you predicted the Global Credit Crunch and Market declines then maybe this represented a short term short at 778 somewhere in middle of last year , but not at 350 ... | rounder2
15/1/2008 16:58 | Ronnie73 - For what its worth , short this at your peril ! Great Company , well run and well placed - Only being sucked down by equity markets and US property decline at moment and not being judged on merits - On course for record profits and sitting on loads of equity without great leverage . Lots of good buys at the moment and this is one of the best !! ( Strengthening $ only helps this business ) | rounder2
15/1/2008 15:31 | Would have been a good short at 350p - completely out of favour! Now 330p and doesn't look particularly strong. Too much negativity surrounding the stock it seems. Surely, there must be predators circling. 1600p NAV? | ronnie73
14/1/2008 14:35 | Go To Work ---- Thanks very much for that ...its the one i was thinking of ..... Cheers. | rounder2
14/1/2008 13:49 | Yet they are still hovering below 350p!1600p versus 350p - something doesn't make sense. I would settle for 500p. | ronnie73
14/1/2008 13:03 | rounder2, 1600p was mentioned august 2007 here: Millennium & Copthorne Posted on August 7th, 2007 in Market whispers. Interims impress. Broker Evolution reckons shares are worth 900p (current price 580p). It explains: 'MLC is a 'special sit' opportunity for investors with an eye for value. MLC is an increasingly rare 'asset play' in a sector where there has been a massive divestment of assets by hotel companies. 'The NAV based on the Jan 2004 revaluation is 485p, this rises to 512p when the December 206 revaluation is factored in. We believe that the NAV could be anywhere between 700p and 1600p (not a typo!) on a break-up scenario.' | go to work on an egg
14/1/2008 10:49 | They will be taken-over at some point and the current price is unbelievably low. But then again, there are so many bargains out there. At 350p per share there should be many predators out there, especially the Arabs and Asians wanting a quality hotel company on the cheap! | ronnie73
14/1/2008 10:07 | rounder , how do you get 1600 per share , big difference from ADVFNs | scrapman
11/1/2008 16:25 | Turned around today ( big volume traded ), up from here ( DJIA permitting )....NAV apparently as much as £16.00 per share . | rounder2
10/1/2008 15:17 | Think these are undervalued, has strong intersts in Asia which iss performing well yet shares fallen sharply. There were broker targets of 1100p per share on this last year! Company owns a lot of freehold property/hotels and NAV is much higher than current share price. | jas_ron
10/1/2008 07:48 | duplicated | scrapman

10/1/2008 07:31 | any one any news on this one , seems to be getting a hammering | scrapman
10/12/2007 14:13 | Wow .This really is under the radar !!! | rounder2 |
