02/5/2012 20:48 | Yes indeed some vote of confidence in those options altho it is just paper money at this point and of no real value until the targets are hit. | choppa
01/5/2012 07:17 | The eps targets on today's option grant to Caroline Green certainly make MRX a good looking 2-3 year play. Her deal vests progessively with eps between 2.7p & 3.2p for FY2014. I fancy that they believe & intend that she should get 100% vesting - so my eps target for 2014 is now 3.3p. Put that eps on a P/E discount to the sector of 9-11 & we have an implied share price of 30-38p within 36 months. That makes MRX a great looking prospect. | electronica
28/4/2012 06:43 | pvb R&A PDF works for me - haven't seen the paper version as my shares are in nominee accounts. BTW - did you see the Caterpillar quarterlies announced earlier in the week. They were brilliant & predicted further growth into the future. Caterpillar are a v major custor of 2 of MRX's larger divisions - Weston Body Hardware & Toolspec. This bodes v well for MRX. | electronica
27/4/2012 18:20 | Anyone else have problems with the (paper version) of the MRX R&A being misprinted? | pvb

28/3/2012 11:21 | foxman I'll dig out the Growth Company note & post it on here. Watch this space! In the meantime LCF Research published a positive piece on MRX in their newsletter this morning .......... "Another company which I saw last week was Metalrax Group Plc, the specialist engineering conglomerate which Andy Richardson joined from Halma five years ago to oversee its turnround - talk about a baptism of fire! Developments which caught my eye include: One of the activities is the manufacture and supply of bakeware. New management (which had been working elsewhere in the group over the last four years) was installed in Autumn 2011, bringing, inter alia, a focus on customer service. As a result, the company won a sole supply contract from a major British retailer, displacing the previous Chinese supplier. The business was won based on the flexibility of the service provided to the retailer and hence its customers. Post Glover LifeLink (PGL) is a US based subsidiary which manufactures isolated electrical power systems for the medical and laboratory sectors. This company is set to expand as it completes a product that conforms to European standards. In the US, the company is well positioned to benefit from recent legislation requiring the use of isolated electrical systems in all operating rooms. The Toolspec division undertakes tube manipulation for luxury cars and off-highway vehicles. A key part of its competitive advantage is now recognised as being its skill in jig making, which in turn permits the cost savings associated with robotic welding. The company works with its customers at the product design stage rather than just being an order taker for completed designs (similar to Plastics Capital in this regard). A salesmen has been employed to increase market awareness of the company's specialist skills - a recent contract win involves supplying components for the Jaguar C- X16 which is due for launch in 2013. 28/3/2012 08:50 | Electronica Thanks for the above info. I wasn't aware of those target prices. Still intend to hold. Looks like the annoying 'pontificator' with his cliches and one liners has gone away! | foxman14
23/3/2012 08:28 | Foxman I hope that general market support is there. I've added 300k since the new banking facilities were announced & am very happy that MRX is now a good going concern. WH Ireland share price target is now 14.5p & Growth Company is now calling 15.6p. Both analyst's are being very conservative, but we do need buyers & I sense that the MRX management are working on that (witness the improved & more detailed newsflow). | electronica
23/3/2012 08:14 | Distressed single seller. Will rise when he's finished as support is there. | foxman14

19/3/2012 07:57 | Wow! According to the forecasts I have got adjusted eps (1.48p) has beaten 31/12/2012 estimates (1.39p) never mind 31/12/2011 (1.05p)! | foxman14
