battlebus,I sold half @ 12pence and have been selling ever since.Always leave some for the next investor is not a bad maxim and in any event all proceeds have been re- invested in PUR which,as you know, looks particularly tasty.

Hi ducatiman.COS ?,please enlarge.
MTT claim is only around US$4.3million,I believe.
Although an adjudication favouring MTT would be beneficial,I do feel that CEO Aik Rosenberg is frying bigger fish currently for it does look to me as though the future ownership of Meta Tech is up for grabs. This may potentially result in some wild gyrations in the share price over the weeks ahead.
Whilst not wishing to deflect any potential investor in MTT,my top preference for further investment would most definitely directed towards Pure Wafer(PUR).

Can't decide whether to jump back in now or not. It may take a while for new investment to pan out. But then again it may not.

As i'm not sure, will wait, if I miss out so be it, but watching closely.

As there is such a small free float of shares, I can't see the point of large investor trying to build a stake on the open market, they would need to be in discussions with AR.

I'm still not exactly sure what this RNS is saying. It seems to say that

1. the MOU - that Technoplus would invest - AND the no shop period have expired. That's two things, the MOU & the period.

2. Thechnoplus have written accusing them of "shopping around during the 'no shop' period."

3. But the company say they will CONTINUE to talk to other investors.

4. The co. will vigorously "Defend itself against such claims"

So, if they are going to continue to talk to other investors that means they HAVE been talking to them (and presumably not in the one day since they were written to.)

And does the word "claims" mean litigation or just bad-mouthing. eg They are claiming we broke faith and we refute that, or they are making a claim for losses incurred because of bad faith on our part which we will have to resist in court.

If the latter is true, that's just what we need - another court case, just as we're getting out of the lengthy battle that's embroiled us over the past couple of years.

If the MMs read that word "claim" as meaning legal then they rightly started to drop the price. Markets do not like litigation, it's seriously bad for your share price ...

What to others make of it - am I reading it right?

Have not researched this co`, started looking last week due to the rise and connection with oxs, where I have a holding, so excuse me if my thoughts are way off mark.
Potential investor sees an oportunity, something starts to drive the share price north, potential investor thinks co` have leaked some news/info, accuses mtt of doing so. mtt puts up 2 fingers saying confidentiality period over. investor pulls out and now has to prove allegations (difficult). So is there a reason for the strengh? or just AIM madness?
Will be watching closely though have an exposure to a potential uzbek settlement thru oxs.

I wonder if the company are confident of the arbitration result, and think they can get by without the investor?

Metal-Tech Ltd
Update on prospective investment in the Company
RNS Number : 1872Z
Metal-Tech Ltd
12 March 2012

12 March 2011

Metal-Tech Ltd.
("Metal-Tech" or "the Company")

Update on prospective investment in the Company

Metal-Tech, the producer and recycler of speciality metals such as Tungsten and Molybdenum, provides the following update on talks with Technoplus Ventures Ltd. ("Technoplus"), an Israeli investment company listed on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, following the announcement on 4 October 2011 regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the potential investment from Technoplus to Metal-Tech.

The Board would like to advise that the MOU with Technoplus and the "no-shop" period pursuant thereto, during which the Company and anyone acting on its behalf refrained from negotiating with third parties any transaction, which involves issuance of shares and/or options in the Company's equity, have expired.

Metal-Tech received a letter from Technoplus on 11 March, which included an allegation with respect to the Company's and other third parties liability for breach of the MOU. The Company strongly rejects any allegation that it has breached any of the conditions of the MOU and will rigorously defend itself against any such claims.

Metal-Tech continues to hold discussions with other potential investors and will inform the market of any further developments as required. The Board maintains that any future fundraising will be utilised to support the growth of the Company, both through investments in the Company's production facilities, and facilitating working capital as required.

So only 5m shares outside of director ownership, not sure if we are going to get good news or not, and I suspect if the news is not good it will drop like a stone before we can get out.
I waited through the last six months so might as well see it out.
I think a few oxus investors have picked up on this recently and are jumping in on the hope of positive news on the Uzbekistan arbitration. Which probably explains the current rise. Same again please and I'll be in profit;-)

Unspecified as far as I am aware,Induna123.
"Metal-Tech's counsel in this arbitration, O. Thomas Johnson, Jr. of Covington & Burling LLP,stated: "The Israel-Uzbekistan Bilateral Investment Treaty protects Israeli investors in Uzbekistan from actions such as those taken against Metal-Tech. Under that treaty, Metal-Tech has the right to seek redress from Uzbekistan through binding arbitration. Metal-Tech is doing nothing more than exercising that right."
Hopefully any figure specified will be substantial;which it almost certainly will be in relation to MTT's current Market Cap of just £2million.imo.
