                                Board appointments


As highlighted in the interim results announced earlier today, Marchpole is
pleased to announce the appointment, effective today, of two new directors to
the board:


Raymond Ian Harris FCA, MLIA (Dip) (aged 63) joins the board as a non-executive
director.  He qualified in 1961 and has since practiced as a Chartered
Accountant as either Principle or Partner.  He merged his own practice with
Gerald Edelman, Chartered Accountants, in 1989. He also joined the board of
Gerald Edelman plc (financial services arm of Gerald Edelman) in 1989 where he
remained as a director until November 2002.  In June 2003 he retired from the
Gerald Edelman partnership and became a consultant.



Raymond is currently a director of Microcap Equities Plc, Room Service Plc,
Prestige Publishing Plc, The Creative Education Corporation plc and Your Space
plc, all of which are AIM-traded.  He is and has been in the last five years a
director of a number of other companies as below:

April 2001.  Financial director of Data Processing (UK) Ltd and Rushbridge Ltd,
both private  companies which entered into creditor's voluntary liquidation in
1989 and which were dissolved on 17 August 1993 and 2 September 1993
respectively.



Michael Maurice Morris (aged 58) joins the board as an executive director.
Michael will be part of the Executive Team which is responsible for sales and
day to day operations, as well as continuing with his responsibilities for
sourcing and developing new brands.  He is and has been in the last five years
the director of a number of companies as follows:

Other disclosures

Michael Morris was a Director of Andramead Limited, Antonucci Limited and Senza
Limiti Limited which were put into administrative receivership on 9 June 1987, 9
June 1987 and 25 June 1987 respectively.  The companies were dissolved on 9
April 1990, 9 April 1990 and 19 March 1991 respectively, save that Andramead
Limited was restored on the application of the receivers on 11 November 1991 and
subsequently re-dissolved on 24 October 1995.


There are no other matters that require disclosure under paragraph 6.F.2 of the
Listing Rules in respect of either Raymond Harris or Michael Morris.
