Cancellation from Trading on AIM

On 31 July 2014, the Company's shares were suspended from trading on AIM as a result of the Company not having completed a reverse takeover or substantially implemented the investing policy approved by shareholders within twelve months of becoming an investing company.

Mercer has continued to review and conduct detailed due diligence on several investment opportunities, however it has not been possible to progress matters to completion of a reverse takeover, or otherwise substantially to implement its investing policy. Accordingly, under AIM Rule 41 the Company's admission to AIM will be cancelled at 7 a.m. on 2 February 2015, having been suspended for six months.

Following the cancellation from trading on AIM, Mercer's ordinary shares will be transferrable by way of stock transfer forms but there will be no price setting or dealing facility available to shareholders.

Mercer will continue to evaluate acquisition opportunities in accordance with its investing strategy and the directors will keep shareholders informed of developments by way of notices on the Company's website, www.mercerresources.com, and via direct communication where appropriate.
