I had assumed, obviously incorrectly, that the 'bag tax' applied only to those with a large(ish) turnover.

Mrs M donates all proceeds from teh emporia bag 'tax' to local (non eco) good causes. Of course we could spend it all on drink - or indeed a further consignment of bags.
