                           JOINT CAUTIONARY STATEMENT

Shareholders of Meikles Africa Limited ("MAL"), Kingdom Financial Holdings
Limited ("KFHL") and Tanganda Tea Company Limited ("Tanganda") are advised that
due to the requirement to convene Extraordinary General Meetings ("EGM") for
KFHL and Tanganda  the dates contained in the notices convening the MAL EGM and
the KFHL and Tanganda Scheme Meetings have been amended as follows:

Last date for receipt of Forms of Proxy relating to the 
 appropriate meeting                                       13 November 2007

Appropriate Scheme and EGM record date                     13 November 2007

Date of MAL, Tanganda and KFHL EGMs and 
 Scheme Meetings for KFHL and Tanganda                     15 November 2007


The EGM for MAL will be held at 9:00 am. The EGM for Tanganda will be held at 9:
45 am followed by a Tanganda Scheme Meeting at 10:00 am. The EGM for KFHL will
be held at 10:45 am followed by a KFHL Scheme Meeting at 11:00 am. All meetings
will be held in the Mirabelle, Meikles Hotel, Third Street, Harare.
