I just switched my the last of my shares over from MEDU to MEDG. Was able to sell £2,600 MEDU at Fill or Kill of 270p, and could buy £2,600 MEDG at Fill or Kill of 190p (though I see the spread has shifted as a result of my buy).

This converted my 965 shares into 1361 shares, giving me an increase of over 40% in my holding.

To avoid telephone charges, fill or kill can be done online on MEDG to get online trading commission prices. Just have to wait 10 mins for it to go through.

Anyhow, MEDU currently up 3% and MEDG currently up 5%. More steady progress today.

Yes, closed up 11.5%, with bid at $4.66 and offer at $5.00. Good progress over the pond.

This is equivalent to MEDU / MEDG being at £3 mid price.

If you intend to hold for a take out or for more than 12 months, MEDG is definitely the better share to buy now. Both tickers have the same nominal value and MEDG can be converted to MEDU after 12 months.

That said, recently (on this rise and on the big rise in 2010, MEDU significantly outperformed MEDG.

Yes, welcome all. I think Nomura issuing a recent (detailed) brokers note, the ProActive presentation, and the end of the restrictions on Medgenics being able to promote the company following its IPO, are all coming together with the Baxter news to create more interest in the company.

Weldome cp1. Some good movement today. Will be interesting to see if in the coming weeks we can break 280p, if so, 350p+ looks like the next resistance.

Thinking of buying in after months of divvering on the sidelines, does it matter which one I buy, MEDU or MEDG, I know this has been an issue in the past but I have lost touch over recent months. Thanks in advance.

The AMEX dual listing will qualify Medgenics for putting shares in an ISA.

See TDW at:

If TDW are not allowing it online, you should have a word with them and refer them to their own guidance notes. It may be that they haven't updated their system since the MDGN AMEX listing came on stream recently.
