06/3/2011 22:01 | RNS Number : 6350X Medavinci PLC 09 December 2010 In order to test the potential of the extensive Deli Jovan gold trend detailed soil geochemical sampling is planned to commence this month and 2,500 samples will be collected over a six-week period in the area between the Rusman and Gindusa mines, subject to weather conditions. Results are expected by February 2011. Has there been another RNS to supersede the one of 09 December 2010? | kev921
06/3/2011 21:47 | Where is the information from the company with regards the surface sampling not having been started please? | kev921
06/3/2011 21:37 | Marab. Warmms up there and goes straight into summer. Spring lasts for like a month and then bosh in May it could get to 30. First 2/3 weeks in march can be tricky but by April 20c and short sleeves. Nice climate. Andy, You mention you met John previosuly. What was your experience with him? Presumably this was in previous roles? | apavlovic
06/3/2011 21:31 | apavlovic, we appreciate your input here. Now people know that the sampling hasn't even started they will probably be a bit more relaxed when the sampling results turn up in June or July. Tough luck for those that bought expecting results at the end of February. 1 metre of snow - how are you going to get there at Easter, by helicopter ;-) | marab
06/3/2011 16:21 | Marab yes, unfortunatelly few thought I was deramping but sampling has not taken place for two reasons: Point 1 is access to the mine. H&S inspection. My contacts cnfirmed region is covered with 1m of snow so if you read that document (infrastructure) you will see that there is no major routes going to the mine. The majority of the region appart from place mentioned above. it is mostly cattle, farming and population is not exactly huge as you can see so no priority for keeping routes clear during winte rmonths. I expect that to change come April but as I said it would be in my view to wait and see what H&S throw at us. | apavlovic
06/3/2011 14:57 | apavlovic, good write up on the meeting and a bit ironic that you were the only one there. Disappointing to hear that the sampling has yet to start as I know some here were expecting something by the end of February. So a few months to wait yet before sampling news. Many thanks for the good work. | marab
06/3/2011 14:41 | Might be a good idea for all interested to have a quick look at this document giving an overview of the region and in particular paying to the bit about infrastructure. Unfortunatelly it is in Serbia so you will need to use google translate. If I go there in Easter I will take my camcorder and upload approach to the mine on you tube but have no idea what the roads are like leading up to the mine itself. All I can say to you once I drove via Crni Vrh and I think it took @5 hours from Belgrade. It was very scenic and good test for the suspension | apavlovic
06/3/2011 13:07 | apalovic, "I will drop him an e mail and keep in touch and offered to help them. We had a little banter when I told him about my background so hopefully we can build a little rapport." ----------- Interesting, what area can you assist them in? It's a great idea if you can! aiminvestor@hotmail. FWIW I have met J. Barry and fully concur with your comments. | andy

05/3/2011 09:12 | apavlovic I`d surmise that the more gold they find the bigger company they will become. "mineralised structures have potential for several million ounces of gold" Historical reports indicate that gold content of the veins varied from 4g/t to highs of 70g/t. average mineralisation grade is unknown. The Deli Jovan Opportunity Deli Jovan is an historic gold mining district with mining and exploration activity dating from Roman to pre-World War II times. There is mention in historical accounts of mining in Serbia that some 600,000 ounces of gold may have been produced from the Deli Jovan district but this is unverifiable. A multiple of this potential may still be left in the ground at the old Rusman and GinduĀa mines and at prospects along strike between these mines. Exploration programmes planned by Orogen will focus on establishing continuity in mineable width and economic grade along a reef complex of some 10 km in strike-length that is open at depth. Orogen's management believe that the mineralised structures have potential for several million ounces of gold. | stonedyou
04/3/2011 23:04 | started a new thread ready for Monday | omnitrix
04/3/2011 21:01 | From the new web site all looking good. Orogen Work Plan Orogen's exploration objective for Deli Jovan is to demonstrate the potential for a minimum 500,000 ounce gold resource, with scope for substantial additional resources. Orogen will target a maiden inferred resource of 100,000 ounces of gold which would support an initial two to three years of production at an annualised rate of 30,000 to 40,000 ounces of gold There is also the potential for undiscovered "blind" lodes rich in gold. It is probable that the old miners needed an average grade of close to 30g/t gold given the crude underground mining methods and the relatively low gold recovery from the old processing plant. | driver101
