There is now a free on-line shareholder platform operated by the Company's Registrars. All registered shareholders can use this - those with Crest a/cs. I guess that this means that you can't use it if you have a nominee a/c.

To access the service, you need to register by logging onto www.capitashareportal.com

Then key in Mar City PLC in the Company Search menu and follow on-screen instructions. You will need your Investor Code - an 11-digit reference on your share certificate.

Further progress :

On 10 December 2015 the appointment of Tony and Maggie Ryan as Directors of Mar City plc was terminated. Additionally on the same day Andrew Styles was appointed Finance Director.

For Mar City to progress, and give confidence to investors and creditors, Tony and Anne really had to withdraw. Its the typical situation of the founders eventually holding back the growth of their creation.

Hopefully the conflicting activity between Mar City plc and Mar City Developments Ltd is now basically over too.

So we have the basis of a proper Board of Directors now. I don't know if Martyn Everett is going to stay on or they recruit a CEO.

So we await the Results. Maybe Spring/Summer 2016 to return to AIM ? Placing after the results because the expanding business will be cash hungry ?

Dear Mr and Mrs RyanThere have a few problems recently but surely you don't have so much disdain for your investors that you are going to leave the shares under suspension indefinitely. You have had over 10 weeks to resolve your internal issues and make new senior appointments, yet he extended delay does nothing other than to make the market feel that you do not know where you are going and no one is driving the issues forward.Surely you can see this?If the company is in a good place then tell us all, if it's in a bad place then more importantly we need to know. You need to get you share holders support back and your reluctance to lift the suspension only drives a further wedge between us.Kind regards

From the Final results 25th March 2014:"Michael Brown is an investment manager at Henderson Volantis, a UK smaller companies division of Henderson Global Investors. Michael leads Henderson Volantis' corporate governance engagement and their investments in the house building sector. He made a valuable contribution to Mar City's development during 2013 in presenting an institutional view on capital allocation and structure to the executive team. Michael will bring a very valuable perspective and experience to the Board and he will also become a member of the Remuneration Committee"

It's fair to say that investors and the market are doing the talking and it's not the thumbs up.

There is always the possibility there will be an attempted rally at some stage but I'm still convinced this will see the lows around 20p.

We need to see an explanation into what happened, I believe the FD has or will be changed therefore there should be some new routines to avoid this happening again and any new NED appointed will have history to assist in his duties. The only way the BOD can regain investor trust is by performance and ROI, all again IMHO.

As the note on the link points out,all the risk has been transferred to shareholders in this new arrangement and the sale price of the property will be set by a valuer rather than the mkt. All instead of cash. Mar city has become risky ....a property investor at what might be top of the market and with no cash resources to ride any storm. The possibility of the company going broke are much higher this Monday than last...and investors want a much cheaper price for all that extra risk.

I wonder if they will re-think the idea of buying Caledonia privately and selling into the plc for a vast profit, it annoys me intently that people come to the market, make some money and then not satisfied set about making themselves extremely wealthy at the expense of private investors, where are the regulators?

Just saw your comment over at Coms and can't make out what's happening there. Anyway followed u over here and MAR look a company on the rise with good cash, product and land bank. However the share price is screaming either the market is just dipping or investors don't believe the story. On fundamentals and chart these look a solid investment to me.

Perhaps the market is pricing it properly The Shuffle Man.

In my experience when a co puts out a gang busting statement like today and the share does naff all then there's often a reason imo. Investors don't turn a cheap stock down for fun imo.

Looked at this several times but the chart just says walk away at the moment.

Perhaps there's a clue in the near £3m outflow of cash from operating activities at the last full year results? They issued £34m in shares, spent £5m on an acquisition and that left £27m so even allowing for that £2m went out the door with that all aside.

At the interims £21m went out in operating cashflow! What are they doing? They started the interims with £27m and ended it with £4m. That is galloping through cash and they need a lot to come in quick if they are burning it at that rate imo.

Just an observation - just trying to pin point what it is the mkt doesn't like.

All imo/dyor - perhaps the market is wrong but I'd be careful.
