Ethanol Business Update

Further to the announcement of 3 December 2014 confirming the expiry of the waiver granted to the Company's subsidiaries responsible for its ethanol business, Maple Etanol S.R.L and Maple Biocombustibles S.R.L. (together the "Ethanol Companies"), the Ethanol Companies have received a notice of event of default from the senior lenders to the Ethanol Companies (the "Senior Lenders") in respect of the existing loan agreements.

As previously disclosed, the Company continues to work with the Senior Lenders of the Ethanol Companies to define the steps and actions that will be taken with regard to the Ethanol Companies and is negotiating a Term Sheet with the Senior Lenders. There is no guarantee that a Term Sheet will be concluded on terms acceptable to the Company or at all.

The continued working capital support from the Senior Lenders remains critical to the Ethanol Companies at the present time.

The Company will provide a further update as appropriate.
