                          Change of Company Secretary

Melrose Resources plc (LSE: MRS) is pleased to announce the appointment,
effective today, of Mr Alasdair Nicholson Robinson as Company Secretary. Mr.
Robinson, 36, has worked for the previous eight years in corporate finance with
the investment bank, Noble & Company, latterly as a director. He is a qualified
solicitor, holds a law degree from Aberdeen University and an MBA from
Strathclyde Graduate Business School.
