That lack of basic pr is stupid, they can say plenty without breaking any disclosure rules. "going very well here Bud", would be a start..not asking for facts and figures.
Its well known that total lack of information causes investor fatigue, and this company has a high amount of relatively small investors.

Too many traders in this happy to mention when they buy but not when they have been
dumping but that happens on every share on the exchange.

The news should be good but we are waiting too long to hear it. PR is shocking. Try
and get a email reply to a polite email to them, not had one for ages.

We keep expecting bounces but they don't happen. I went for a one-week break last Wednesday and the price was approaching 9p with lots of optimism in this thread. I come back to find the price back down to 7.4p. What a surprise.

If the company beat expectations and produce earnings of 2.5p that's a PE of 3. Forwards earnings 4-5p forward PE of 1.5 in a sector that's is booming for the next 5 years. Crazily cheap@ 7.5p I've added another 200k today.

Results are due End if first week or 2nd week of September . Sources suggest board are awaiting final Audit results and as a bonus hoping 0% holding RNS. Results are better then the market has been expecting .

Do not think they have much in the way of competition. Whatever they are offering they are doing it well. Glencore are happy to use them and the SHED is bang in the middle of it all and has everything the miners want via servicing so I doubt anybody else is going to try and muscle in. The key is making as much as possible while the boom lasts.

If they can find another industry that wants to use their facilities for maintenance I think the shares will rocket but I think they are running at capacity already so not much more they can do unless they buy or rent another hanger.

Perhaps they can expand the Plant Hire side of things.

dave - I think your valuation is fair. For me, and I imagine others looking at the company, questions holding hold back the valuation are:

1) given its turbulent history, will mrs fully exploit the tailwind it now has?
2) how will mrs cope when the Queensland coal & property boom (inevitably) has a downturn?
3) what's the company's sustainable competitive advantage to stop competition or customer pricing pressure, maintaining acceptable profitability?

The current valuation is stupidly low, and when the next results show the company is nailing point 1) I'd expect a re-rate. I doubt MRS will be able to address points 2) and 3) which means a modest PER of 7-10 is about right. That's my view anyhow.
