Result of Annual General Meeting

 

Madagascar Oil announces the results of the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held at 2pm today, as follows:

1	To re-elect Robert Eugene Estill	Passed
2	To re-elect Andrew James Morris	Passed
3	To re-elect Michael Duginski	Passed
4	To re-elect Stephen McCaughan Hope	Passed
5	To re-elect John Alexander (Iain) Patrick	Passed
6	To re-elect Peter Henry Godfrey	Withdrawn
7	To re-appoint PwC LLP as the Company's auditors	Passed
8	To disapply pre-emption rights	Not Passed

 

Prior to the meeting, Peter Godfrey informed the Company that, for personal reasons, he had decided not to offer himself for re-election at the meeting and so Resolution 6 was withdrawn.  Mr. Godfrey therefore, ceased to be a director at the conclusion of the AGM.  On behalf of the Board, Chairman Andrew Morris thanked Mr. Godfrey for all his hard work during his time with the Company and wished him all the best for the future.
