  Adjournment of Extraordinary General Meeting and Notice of new Extraordinary
                                General Meeting

23 July 2004

Music Choice Europe plc announces that, due to technical reasons, the
Extraordinary General Meeting originally scheduled for 28 July 2004 will be
adjourned permanently.

A new Extraordinary General Meeting will convene on 18 August 2004 to seek
shareholder approval for the return of capital to Shareholders involving the
cancellation of up to 73 per cent. of the Company's existing issued share
capital and the cancellation of the Company's share premium account.

The adjournment will not affect the level of the capital reduction previously
proposed, and the amount paid for each cancelled share will remain the same at
16.75 pence per share.
