Music Choice Europe plc, Europe's leading digital audio broadcaster, is pleased
to announce the appointment of Gary Podorowsky as a Non-Executive Director with
immediate effect. He replaces Dr Kenji Kitatani as the representative from Sony
Corporation of America ("SCA"), one of Music Choice's founding corporate
shareholders.

Mr Podorowsky is a Senior Vice President at SCA, working closely with Sony's
music, pictures and electronics companies. Since joining SCA in 1989, he has
held senior positions in finance, business development and strategic planning,
contributing to a number of Sony's business initiatives and digital services
projects. Mr Podorowsky was a member of the Music Choice Board from flotation in
October 2000 to May 2002.

Prior to joining Sony, Mr Podorowsky was a Senior Financial Advisor at Mobil
Corporation. Mr Podorowsky holds an ScB degree in Economics and Applied
Mathematics from Brown University and an MBA in Finance from the Columbia
Business School.

The Board can confirm that there is no relevant information to disclose under
paragraphs 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules in relation to Mr Podorowsky's
appointment.

Commenting on Mr Podorowsky's appointment, Mike Thomas, Chairman of Music
Choice, said:
