went to see the Worlds greatest Rock n Roll band last night
Oasis at the Lighthouse in Poole
the Lighthouse is tiny with just 2500 fans watching their warm up gig before they headline at Glastonbury on Friday evening ,tickets for this event sold out in 90 seconds when they were released on the internet, the stage was just an arms length away, you felt you could almost reach out and touch them.
..they were awesome ..new drummer Zac Starkey was magnificent , Liam imperious as ever strutting about on the stage insisting on wearing a parka despite everyone else being drenched with sweat !.
there was just the 5 of them no video screens or lasers or anything just great unadulterated rock n roll...hit after hit and a couple of new songs which although the crowd didnt know them were well received and bode well for the new album .
Highlight of the evening for me was Hindu Times with its fantastic guitar riff and Liam giving it his all on the vocals followed by Noel singing Don't Look Back in Anger accompanied by 2500 Oasis nuts. The encore started with Liam showing his sensitive side singing Songbird and finished with a high octane version of My Generation that was anything but sensitive ! everyone went home with ringing ears having seen a truly unique show and one I suspect no-one there will ever forget....on this evidence those at Glastonbury on Friday evening at 10.00 pm are in for an unforgettable night too , I'm still in shock !

Manraj - believe it will be bored people leaving the share to try and make money elsewhere - hope it does test the 16p range soon, will definately buy some more then.

Vis - Cant see that seeing tht the year accounting date is 30 June. Would expect results in early September, similar to last year

so i heard, not sure though, anyone know for certain whether they are now reporting on a quarterly basis????

The senior management team is away tues and wed this week, tried to contact them on monday, could be that they are getting the Interims ready for release end of june.

Apparently u cant contact them until thurs.

Manraj - relax, no news means that it is going to drift, especially considering all the people who bought based on the last tip. It is likely that those people are now getting impatient and are beginning to sell. Expect the MM's to take full advantage of this and keep dropping the price. All it means to me, is that I can get a few more on the cheap.
