Senior Appointment

Further three Chinese Business Park Alliances

London Asia, the AIM-listed Greater China focused investment and financial
advisory company, announces the appointment of Ms. Sherry Madera as Director,
European Capital Markets to the London-based team. Sherry will focus on listing
Chinese businesses on the Stock Market in the UK, especially London's AIM
market, and on cross border investment opportunities for Chinese companies
looking to acquire businesses in Europe, European businesses looking to acquire
businesses or enter the market in China, and Chinese businesses looking for
partners or investment from overseas.

Sherry has international experience in investment banking, corporate advisory,
mergers & acquisitions and venture investing. Most recently Managing Director
at Ionic Advisors Ltd in London, Sherry advised venture capitalists and
portfolio companies on corporate finance initiatives with particular emphasis on
cross border mergers & acquisitions. Previously, Sherry worked in the same
field with North American companies at CIBC. Sherry is a CFA charterholder.

London Asia has entered into strategic alliances with a further three business
parks in China. These alliances continue London Asia's policy of expanding in
China via partnerships with strong local players, and complement the two
existing alliances with the Business Parks, Wuhan East Lake and Yantai Wolong.

The three Parks are located in Shandong Province, between Beijing and Shanghai,
where London Asia already has existing operations. London Asia has access to
over 7,000 companies, through these Parks, and has set up procedures to identify
those companies that are capable of gaining stock market listings overseas,
suitable for investment or seeking business partners and have the potential for
technology transfer with non Chinese companies. Further details of these parks
are listed below:

* Zibo National Hi-Tec Industrial Development Park ("ZHID") is based by
Zibo City, in central Shandong. ZHID has a useable area of 70 sq km, hosting
over 1,300 businesses. Over 150 of these businesses have received foreign
investment for contracts totaling more than US$350m, from the USA, Korea, Japan,
Australia, Italy, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Hong Kong,
and Taiwan. Zibo is one of China's 12 biggest cities, and is rich in natural
resources including petrol, natural gas and iron ore making it a leading centre
for petrochemicals and the pharmaceutical industries in China, as well as
textiles and environmental technology.

* Longkou Economic Development Zone, founded in 1992, is near Longkuo
City, close to both Bohai and Longkou harbours, and covers 18 sq km. Investors
from Canada, Korea, America, France, Hong Kong and Taiwan have already
contracted to invest US$140 million in 18 projects within the zone. Main
industries within the Zone are food processing, biomedicine, mechanic
manufacturing, automobile accessories and textiles. The Zone encompasses a
Korean Industrial Park.

* Laiyang Economic Development Zone, founded in 1992, is based to the
west of Laiyang City and covers a 10 sq km area. The main industries in the
Zone are food processing, appliances, machinery manufacturing, chemical
industry, and automobile. A number of businesses in the zone have already
received foreign investment.

Victor Ng, London Asia's Director of China Operations said: "We are delighted to
be working with these new partners, which consolidates our already strong
position in Shandong Province, an area receiving substantial investment partly
as a result of the infrastructure being upgraded in anticipation of the water
based element of the 2008 Olympics being held there. "

Simon Littlewood, Chief Executive, said: "We are pleased to have Sherry Madera
join our team to expand our capabilities and allow us to maximise the benefits
of our recent strategic alliances. Despite the concerns over a bubble forming
in China as a result of perceived over-investment in certain sectors of the
Chinese economy, we continue to see no shortage of attractively priced
investment opportunities. We believe that our emphasis on identifying
opportunities in cities which have, to date, received less attention from
investors, on businesses focused on serving the consumer sector of the Chinese
economy, and our access to a vast number of Chinese businesses means that we are
well positioned to identify these better value opportunities."
