                         Investment in Indonesian Bank

London Asia Capital plc ("London Asia" or "the Group") the UK listed (AIM:
LDC.L) Asia focused merchant banking group, has invested US$1 million (#0.5
million) in PT Bank Mayapada International Tbk ("Mayapada"), an Indonesian bank,
listed on the Jakarta stock exchange.

Mayapada is an Indonesia based financial services group, whose principal
activities include providing general banking and financial services, such as:
savings, loans, export and import finance, and foreign exchange. Headquartered
in Jakarta, the bank operates nine branch offices, ten sub-branch offices and 18
cash offices throughout Indonesia. Its current market capitalisation is circa
Rp740 billion (#41 million).

Simon Littlewood, London Asia Chief Executive, said: "London Asia recently
established an office in Indonesia, as part of its continued expansion across
Asia. We believe there is untapped potential in the Indonesian market and are
currently working on a number of projects there. These include both investment
of our own funds in financial services businesses, as well as supporting our
portfolio companies, several of whom are looking to expand into the Indonesia
market."
