London Asia companies on new Shanghai Exchange

London Asia Capital plc ("London Asia"), the Greater China focused investment
and merchant banking group, is pleased to announce that further to its agreement
signed earlier this year with Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange
("SUAEE"), China's largest private equity exchange, London Asia is to list
several of its clients and investee companies on SUAEE's new stock exchange,
based in Shanghai.

China's personal savings market is estimated at over US$1.9 trillion
(#1,000,000,000,000), and there is currently a relatively limited range of
investment opportunities for Chinese investors, particularly those interested in
gaining exposure to non Chinese incorporated companies.

London Asia's eight client companies currently traded on the UK's PLUS Market
will be listed in Shanghai, alongside their UK listing.

Jack Wigglesworth, Chairman, London Asia, said: "This is an additional service
we can offer our clients and investee companies, enabling them to tap into both
London and China's financial markets. Recent successful dual listings such as
Bank of China's fund raisings in Hong Kong and China have shown the huge sums of
investment capital available within China."

The agreement with SUAEE was signed in the presence of London's Lord Mayor,
David Brewer, as part of the Lord Mayors Financial Services delegation to
Shanghai, celebrating 10 years of cooperation between London and Shanghai in
financial services.

The Lord Mayor, David Brewer, said "China has historically been seen as a
consumer of capital, with Chinese businesses listing on Stock Markets around the
world, including over 40 in London. This flow can increasingly become two way,
with British businesses tapping into the capital available in China and
increasing their profile in the country, especially appropriate for the
increasing number of British businesses which are operating in China."

SUAEE is a Chinese exchange, authorised by the Shanghai Government, for the
listing of a range of assets and companies. There are currently over 300
companies listed on the Exchange. Funds raised through the exchange in 2005
amounted to over RMB65bn (#4.5bn). It provides a platform for fund raisings,
acquisitions, mergers, and the reconstruction of Chinese enterprises from both
the private and public sector. Many early stage technology companies and
spin-outs from China's universities also use the exchange as a way of sourcing
funding.

Simon Littlewood, London Asia Chief Executive, said: "These are the first non
Chinese companies to be listed on any exchange in China. We anticipate
significant interest from Chinese investors who are keen to gain exposure to a
wider field of investments, particularly non Chinese businesses."

Mr Cai, President of SUAEE, said :"Shanghai has historically been the financial
centre for China, and this ground breaking step forward helps Chinese companies,
especially SMEs, to be further integrated into international capital markets,
and overseas companies develop their presence in China."
