                    Disclosure of significant shareholding


Following the acquisition of 10% of Century Data, the Chinese GPRSbusiness
operating in partnership with China Mobile, via the issue of 3 million London
Asia ordinary shares at 19p announced on 22nd March 2004, Mr Jiang Guoping, the
Chairman of the Biaoqi group of businesses in which London Asia holds stakes, is
now interested in 5.2 million London Asia ordinary shares, equal to 6.79% of the
Company.

Following the exercise of 47,000 warrants attached to the shares issued in the
placing of October 2003, the Company has issued 47,000 ordinary shares for cash
at 10p per share, resulting in net cash to the Company of #4,700.  Application
has been made for the shares to be traded on AIM and admission is expected on
29th March 2004.
