Appointment of director


The Company is pleased to announce that Susan Tham has been appointed a director
of the Company.  Susan's experience has ranged from starting up businesses to
working with large established public limited companies, both in the UK and in
the Far East.  Susan is Director of China Operations at Scarborough Developments
(China) Ltd, a China focused property trading and investment company, and splits
her time between the UK and China.


Said Simon Littlewood, Chief Executive of London Asia: "Having someone of
Susan's experience of doing business in China and South East Asia will be of
great benefit to the Company as we continue our acquisition strategy in Greater
China.  With SARS now over, we are seeing a considerable increase in interest as
activity returns to the region".
